How much does it cost?
Pricing varies by guest count and menu. Larger groups enjoy lower per-person rates.

What deposit secures my date?
A $750 (incl. GST) deposit secures your date. A tax invoice is raised on receipt of deposit.
If an invoice is issued without a deposit and then cancelled, a $500 fee is charged.
Typical booking deposit is 25% of the total once menu and details are confirmed.

Minimum function charges: $1,400 + GST (Mon–Thu) and $1,800 + GST (Fri–Sun).

Standard Set Up Fee: $320 + GST. Wedding Set Up Fee: $420 + GST.

Balance is due before the day of the function. Payments after the day incur a 5% surcharge.

Cancellations
What is your cancellation policy?
- > 7 days: $750 (incl. GST). If rebooked within 6 months, receive a $500 discount.
- < 7 days: 20% of total (or $750, whichever is higher). Deposit cannot be reapplied to a new date.
- < 24 hours: 50% of total price.
Event Day & Setup
How does service work on the day?
We arrive ~1.5–2 hours before first course. Guests visit the wok station for hot mains with rice and condiments,
or we can serve to table (extra staffing fee). A lively on-show cooking experience—or we can work quietly in the background.

What happens if it rains?
We plan dry & wet options in advance (pergolas, umbrellas, garages, marquees, tarps).

Menus & Dietary Requirements
How many mains & entrees can we choose?
Standard includes three mains. Adding a fourth wok option incurs an additional charge (covers equipment/staff).

Do you cater for gluten-free, vegan, halal and other needs?
Yes—vegetarian, vegan, coeliac/gluten-free, FODMAP and more. Halal meats available.
Kosher-friendly menus (meats can be sourced; kitchen is not Kosher-certified).
All main dishes are nut-free unless stated (Pad Satay, Pad Thai, Gado Gado contain nuts). Pad Thai contains shrimp.

Do you use MSG?
We do not add MSG and select sauces/pastes without MSG where possible. Because some imported ingredients can be inconsistently labelled, we cannot provide an absolute guarantee of zero MSG.

How far do you travel?
We service all Melbourne suburbs and regularly travel regionally (e.g., Bendigo, Geelong, Mornington/Bellarine, Apollo Bay, Inverloch, Swan Hill).

Van heights: 2.570 m max (we can arrange low-height vehicles if advised at booking).
Please provide parking for vans & staff. A $75.00 fee applies per 150 serves if parking cannot be provided.

Space & access requirements
For 50–150 guests, allow approx. 3 m × 4 m including prep, wok line, serving table & guest flow.

Service & Staffing
Do you provide wait/bar staff?
Wait staff available at $60 + GST per hour (min 3 hours). For bar service we recommend partners (e.g., Wanita Waitressing, Liquid Infusion).
How are entrees served?
Typically as self-serve platters refreshed regularly. Roaming service can be arranged (additional staffing fee).
Minimums: 40 serves per salad; 50 serves per dessert if ordered.

Kids, Tastings & Special Options
How do you handle children’s serves?
You can allocate “adult-equivalent” serves (e.g., older teens 1 adult; younger kids ½ or ⅓). We cook to the agreed overall volume.
Can we taste before booking?
We occasionally cater public events, but most of our work is private. We’ll let you know if a suitable public event is coming up.
Terms & Conditions
- Menu prices are valid for 30 days and are subject to seasonal variation.
- Minimum function charges Monday–Thursday $1400.00 (plus GST). Friday–Sunday $1800.00 (plus GST).
- Minimum entrée charge is $500.00 (plus GST) when accompanied with mains. Without mains is as above (T&C 2).
- Standard Set Up Fee of $320.00 (plus GST) covers administration time, travel costs, pack down charges, staff costs, rubbish removal, cutlery, crockery & menu board etc.
- Wedding Set Up Fee of $420.00 (plus GST).
- Travel Fee is charged at $3.00 (plus GST) per km from Melbourne CBD.
- To activate our services, a tax invoice needs to be raised and this can only be done by way of deposit. If a tax invoice is raised in the absence of a deposit, and followed by a cancellation, the client will be invoiced for $500.00.
- Final confirmation of serves/menu/location/serving times: 14 days prior (weddings), 10 days prior (others). Changes after this date may not be guaranteed.
- Changes/updates made to menu may change total price.
- Balance to be paid in full before day of function. Payments after day of function completion incur a 5% surcharge.

- Staff & equipment arrive ~1.5–2 hours before first course. Presets/next-day collection can be arranged for an additional fee.
- Client to provide a safe working environment and protection from inclement weather. Final BBQ location at staff discretion for safety/efficiency.
- Marquee hire $150.00 (plus GST) per 3×3 m unit (staff use only; not guest marquee). Charged regardless of weather/erection.
- Wait staff $60.00 (plus GST) per hour, minimum 3 hours.
- Temporary fire alarm deactivation is the sole responsibility of the customer.
- Customer to provide parking for vans & staff. Minimum parking fee $75.00 per 150 serves if necessary.
- Credit cards: Visa/Mastercard 2.5% surcharge. AMEX not accepted. EFT no fees.
- Menu regions: 1) Asian/Stir Fry, 2) Spanish Paella, 3) Moroccan Tagines, 4) Aussie BBQ. Combining regions incurs an additional charge.
- All noodle/rice dishes can be created with beef, chicken, pork* or prawn* (*additional charges apply).
- Vegan, Halal, Kosher-friendly, Gluten-Free accommodated. Kosher meats +$3.50 (plus GST) for stir-fry mains. GF served with rice noodles/vermicelli/Jasmine rice. All dishes are DF. Pad Thai contains shrimp. All noodle/rice dishes can be made vegetarian (except Pad Thai).

- Rubbish Removal: Bins provided at station; we remove station waste on departure. We don’t supply venue-wide bins or roam to collect rubbish.
- If an induction/registration is required, a $25.00 (plus GST) charge per staff member may apply.

- Pricing assumes minimum of 50–199 servings and medium portion size.

- Price includes a choice of three main dishes; additional charge applies for a fourth wok option.
- Combining items from different menus incurs an additional charge.
- All guests may select combinations of all dishes.
- One hour of service per course ordered is included (additional time by arrangement/fee).
