Over the years, Flying Woks has proudly catered Chinese New Year (Lunar New Year) celebrations for some of Australia’s most recognisable organisations, including Kmart Head Office, BMW, and the RACV Club, as well as major corporate events along the Promenade at Crown Casino.
We have also delivered successful Lunar New Year lunches and dinners for a wide range of corporate offices, universities, and schools, where celebrating cultural diversity is front and centre.
Our Chinese New Year menus are fully customisable and built around popular, crowd-pleasing dishes such as Shanghai chicken noodles, pan-fried pork and vegetable dumplings, handmade spring rolls with traditional dipping sauces, special Chinese fried rice, bao buns, and Peking duck crêpes, alongside favourites like Szechuan pepper beef and beef in black bean sauce.
In fact, our Szechuan pepper beef was first cooked live for the City of Melbourne’s launch of Birrarung Marr Park, and it has remained a standout dish ever since.
